Two years ago, I posted an article entitled "Perseverance." Merriam-Webster defines perseverance as a "continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition : the action or condition or an instance of persevering : steadfastness." At that time, I thought my second title, "Charge of the Beast," would surely be published within a year. Difficulties and opposition increased considerably, however, as did the delay in publication.
